It will not be that long before we will see all of you, and hopefully some more new faces again in Rerik. The arrangements have already started for 2008 and again we will organize everything as professional as we did over the last years. The only thing we cannot influence is, as always, the weather :-)
	2008 will become a very special year for us! For the first time we will cooperate with the German Canoe Federation and we will host the first German Cup for Outrigger OC1 & Surf Ski on the Open Ocean Long Distance 15km. We have established Rerik as an essential part of the Outrigger Sport and we are proud to host the first German Cup. With a lot of personal engagement, we have founded a unique event and you will not find an equal race like this one.
Not only the Outrigger are in our focus, we want also the Surf Ski, Kayak, and lifeguards to become part of an incredible weekend that cannot be found again in Europe. Like the previous years we will offer on 2 days different competitions and distances, like the sprint over 300m, the middle distance over 15 km, the log distance over 25km and the long distance Oceanman for Lifeguards.
	The race distance for the German Cup will be 15km open ocean, and open for OC1 / Surf Ski and open age group. The race course will be 3 rounds of 5km  each - in front of the sea bridge.   We will have an Surf ski to be won as well as a paddleboard for the Lifeguards. And we are currently getting an offer for an outrigger. So stay tuned for further prices and info to be coming.
